The story

Bob’s career began in technology and developed into decades of business leadership.

Over the years, his work put him in front of employees, executives, customers, technical professionals, business owners, students, and audiences in different parts of the world.

He learned early that expertise has limits if you cannot explain what you know to someone else.

That lesson eventually became a larger part of his work. Speaking led to training. Training led to coaching. Leadership experience created opportunities to facilitate difficult conversations and help other people prepare for their own moments in front of the room.

Today, Next Mile Insight brings those experiences together.

Leadership beyond business

Some of the most useful lessons did not come from a conference room.

Each of these environments requires a different approach, but all of them reinforce the same basic responsibility: understand the people in front of you, make the message clear, and help them move forward.

Why Next Mile Insight

Wherever you are today, there is a next mile.

Most people are not starting from zero. They already have experience, knowledge, and habits from their work. The question is what they need to improve next.

That may be a stronger presentation, clearer leadership communication, a better explanation of technical work, or preparation for one specific meeting or event.
